MAC Pro Conceal and Correct Palette

I’m no professional, but that doesn’t mean I can’t buy it, right? LOL

While I was at MAC this past Thursday evening to get another Party Parrot lipstick (LOL…I told you that I would go hunt for it!), I came across the concealer palettes. I remember seeing it on the MAC website for a quick second (or was it another palette? LOL), but didn’t look too much into it. That changed when I was at the MAC store. I thought it was a great idea to come out with a palette with a concealer that has full coverage (besides the Pro Longwear one, which I also really like). I almost didn’t purchase it, but was like “What the hey?” Glad, I did. These palettes come in four types, which are Light, Medium, Medium Deep and Dark. Each palette has four shades of concealer and two color correctors. I purchased the Medium Deep one.

Here’s how it looks in pics:

These are the shades that come in the Medium Deep one.

I LOVE the fact that there’s a dark orange (it’s actually called “Burnt Coral”) corrector in this palette. It’s great for cancelling out the darkness underneath your eyes (if you have that problem). That’s another major reason why I purchased it. As you can see in the pics, I already used the Burnt Coral one, LOL. I applied that first and then the NC42 concealer on top. I noticed that as I applied the Burnt Coral, the darkness wasn’t there anymore. YAY! The NC42 just helps brings things together. It also matches my MUFE Face and Body foundation wonderfully. Here’s how it looks after my first time trying it out:

The pic looks so…”flashy”…not sure why. Darn kitchen lighting.

I’m really liking it, so far. I’m not quite sure what to do with the yellow corrector (or what to use it for), but I’ll figure it out. What’s also great about this is I can use the darker shades, when I tan in the Summer.  I can tan from just walking out in the sun for a couple of hours. So this ENTIRE palette will come in handy, for sure!!!

This costs $40 and it can be found in MAC stores and their website (not sure about counters). Check it out! 🙂

  1. Got the MAC e-mail about the palettes either today or yesterday, and was wondering about getting it or not. Thanks for the review.
