Hautecore is haute.

I think I’ve become obsessed with black lips. They are just so…bold and sexy. It’s not for the faint of heart, and I love using this lipstick as a way to show me not being afraid to rock bold colors that others would scoff at. I’ve gotten a few blank faces today while on my way to work.

Yea, I’ve already stated that Melt Cosmetic’s Bane lipstick holds the title for the best black matte lipstick…HOWEVER, MAC’s Hautecore is a very close second. Once you apply it and blot those lips…you are good to go!!! The good thing about this is when I run out of my two Hautecores (yes, two) then I will always have Bane lipstick since it’s a permanent item. (I actually rotate between both companies.) By the way…why doesn’t MAC have a black lipstick in their permanent collection? *confused*

Anyway, I paired my lips with my LORAC palette yet again!

  1. This looks HAWT on you! I’m so glad I got Hautecore even though it’s not a colour I get to wear very often since my workplace would probably draw the line at black lipstick. Damn workplace getting in the way of my makeup expression, lol!

Those folks were giving you blankface cos they didn’t know how to react when faced with all that fabulousness. 🙂

    • LOL! Thank you.

Yea, thank goodness my workplace isn’t too strict in terms of my makeup. My boss actually likes the makeup looks I wear. So that’s definitely a WIN! LOL!

  2. I LOVE IT. FREAKIN GORGEOUS. I like how you chose a yellow top to make the face pop .I’m wearing this look this weekend.
