Urban Decay Electric Palette

Hey, everyone! Just checkin’ in to talk about a pretty much well-known palette that was recently released by Urban Decay. Yep…the Electric Palette. As many of you most likely know, it is a palette that consists of bright colors ranging from a frost to matte finishes. For a while, I debated whether I should get it or not…annnnnnnnd I caved in. I just thought it was a good idea since I might purge a lot of my makeup collection. (It’s time.) I must say…this palette is gorgeous and it’s quite pigmented. Of course it’s best that you use a base underneath, so that not only the shadows stick, but also to show it’s true bright colors. The only downside is that four of the shadows are not considered eye-safe (Slowburn, Savage, Jilted and Urban). Now…keep in mind…it’s only not eye-safe in the United States (due to FDA standards), but is eye-safe in other countries. Urban Decay has to put that disclaimer so that a lawsuit won’t ensue. With all that said…you can use them, but use them at your own discretion.

Anywho…let’s take a look at the packaging and some swatches!photo 1 (40)

  1. I was waiting to see your thoughts on this palette. Now I will purchase it. Your look with the palette is gorgeous. Side note: When you do your purge what kind of products do you purge?

    • Thank you! 🙂

In terms of my purge, this will be my actual first purge. What I have in mind is my cream shadows, gel liners (that dried out), paint pots, eye shadows and possibly foundations.
